New Bankruptcy Law
| A new bankruptcy law went into effect in 2005 that made major revisions to the bankruptcy code. The new law added complexity and many new requirements to filing. Ike Shulman is well trained on the new law, and is one of a handful of attorneys selected by the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys to train over 3000 attorneys on how to practice under the new law. Ike thoroughly understands the new law and has been successful in achieving positive outcomes for his clients since the law went into effect. |

Prestigious Appointment. In July 2006 Ike Shulman was named Chair of the Northern District of California Bankruptcy Courts Bench Bar Liaison Committee. Ike had previously been named to join the prestigious committee in 2004.
